Kyle McMullen is a 2016 RHP/OF with a 6-2 175 lb. frame from Jupiter, FL who attends Jupiter HS. Long, lean, highly athletic frame with long limbs and excellent physical projection remaining on body. Showed well on the mound in his outing. Small rocker step back into delivery, average-height leg raise, gathering well over the rubber at balance point. Stands tall on backside and utilizes lower half extremely well. Clean arm action up to high three quarters slot, generates excellent downhill plane on pitches. Fastball worked from 82-86 and topped at 87 MPH with excellent arm side run on the pitch. Good rhythmic tempo to delivery, repeats mechanics well and shows athleticism and fluidity throughout. Good extension and arm speed allow ball to jump on hitters quickly. Mixed in a slider in the mid 70's to complement fastball, showed good ability to spin the baseball and the offering flashed quality sharpness that will get better with reps. Named to 2016 World Uncommitted Showcase Top Prospect List. Very good student.
