Brett Borgogno is a 2017 SS with a 5-10 155 lb. frame from Chino Hills, CA who attends Chino Hills HS. Lean shorter build. 6.95 runner, fields out front on defense with soft hands, has quick feet working side to side and charges aggressively, very good arm strength with a quick transfer and actions, has all the middle infield actions and tools. Right handed hitter, hits from a crouched straight stance with a simple weight shift, fires his hips well, downward swing plane, has some quickness to his hands and shows feel for the barrel, bat speed should continue to improve as he gets stronger. Good student, verbal commitment to Cal State Fullerton.
