Trent Vietmeier is a 2017 RHP/1B with a 6-3 210 lb. frame from Pittsburgh, PA who attends Montour HS. Big and strong athletic build. Over the top arm action, creates very good downhill angle to the plate at times, lots of energy at release and will pull his head off line at release. Fastball topped out at 89 mph, have seen up to 92-93 multiple times in the past, mostly straight with good angle, will get some sink at the bottom of the zone. Mid-70's curveball shows good tightness and depth with 11/5 shape when commanded. Developing change up. Didn't see normal velocity but key for future will be developing vertical command of the zone. Good student, verbal commitment to Louisiana State.
