Esteban Lasanta is a 2014 1B/3B with a 6-1 212 lb. frame from Gurabo, PR who attends Colegio Católico Notre Dame. Tall long frame with a strong build. Has a big frame at first base for the infielders, has good footwork around the bag, which allows him to save errors for his teammates. He charges the ball well on bunts, with a quick release and an accurate arm. Starts with an upright stance at the plate with bat speed, he has a middle of the field approach, he will hit the pitch where its pitched. Has power in his bat with lift in his swing. Is a very good student.
