Joshua Crist is a 2014 SS/3B, RHP with a 6-0 185 lb. frame from Galena, IL who attends River Ridge. Has a medium athletic frame with a strong compact build. Has a quick release across the infield with good lateral movement to the hole. He has soft hands with throws that are accurate and online. Starts with an open stance at the plate with high hands. Has a line drive swing plane with extension and hits the ball where it's pitched. Pitches from a 3/4 release point with a short arm action. He mixes his pitches well and has good command of them. Is an excellent student.
