Enrique Colon is a 2014 LHP/OF with a 5-11 160 lb. frame from Caguas, PR who attends Caguas Military Academy. Medium athletic build, plenty of room to get stronger. Extended 3/4's arm slot, will drop occasionally to mid to low 3/4's, creates good angle to left handed hitters. Fastball topped at 83 mph early, mostly upper 70's later, tends to be straight with some flat running action, commands fastball well and can spot the ball to both sides of the plate. Big sweeping curveball with some spin, tends to get on the side of it at times. Pitched quickly and was aggressive in the strike zone. Good student.
