Tucker Jensen is a 2007 RHP/SS/OF with a 6'1'', 180 lb. frame from Ormond Beach FL, who attends Seabreeze HS. He has a medium athletic frame with good potential to get stronger. He throws from a fast paced delivery with some effort and fall off on release that affects his consistency. Jensen's fastball maintained its velocity well at 85-87 mph, topping out at 88 mph. He has a fast arm and it works well in back and through the release point. Jensen throws from a high 3/4's release point and gets good downhill angle on his pitches. This enables him to get over his curveball consistently and give it sharp downer spin. Jensen's breaking ball should be thrown harder but he showed that he could spin it well. As a position player, Jensen profiles as a third baseman, especially when he gets stronger. He showed very good arm strength and good hands and balance on ground balls. His feet and hips are a bit slow for the middle of the field at the next level. At the plate, Jensen hits from a wide base with an upper body rotational swing that gets long. He'll have to work on his hitting to have a chance as a position player at the next level.
