John Fanelli is a 2014 RHP/ with a 5-11 170 lb. frame from Bronx, NY who attends Fordham Preparatory. Large, athletic frame with room to fill out. Ran a 7.44 60 yard dash. Right handed pitcher who throws from an over the top arm slot with a short, compact arm action. Gathers himself well on the mound. Stays low in the zone with pitches, including his fastball which topped at 81 mph. Spots his fastball to corners. Gets on top of 12/6 curveball which features depth and spin. Flashed a change up at 72 mph. Throws strikes and has a feel for all 3 pitches. Very good student.
