Omar Figueroa is a 2013 C/ with a 6-0 213 lb. frame from Ponce, PR who attends Carlos Beltran Baseball Academy. Large, strong build with excellent present strength, has a physical presence. First base profile, did show signs of being a solid receiver behind the plate, has some catch and throw skills, throwing mechanics need improvement. Left-handed hitter, hits from an open stance, high hands. Big time power potential, already has very present power, big lift to pull side, puts on a show in batting practice, big swing but the lift comes easy, good bat speed. High upside power hitter to watch. Good student.
