Baylin Moore is a 2018 OF/LHP with a 5-9 170 lb. frame from Albany, GA who attends Deerfield-Windsor HS. Medium, athletic frame with square shoulders and a lean, projectable frame with room to fill out throughout. Ran a 6.96 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, moves well to the ball and shows athleticism to overall actions, showed arm strength and carry on throws to intended base from compact arm action. Also pitched, begins delivery with a high leg kick up past belt, short and compact arm action coming through the back working to a three-quarters arm slot. Quick arm and comes out of hand clean with downhill plane, short and online stride, fastball topped out at 84 mph with short running life, showed ability to get in on hands. Lefthanded hitter, begins with a wide base and slightly open stance. Short and compact swing with simple set of mechanics, repeats well and shows quickness to hands. Direct path and has a feel for the barrel, creates contact to all fields with comfort and showed ability to shoot the gaps. Showed sound two-way potential. Very good student. Named to Main Event Top Prospect List.
