Cole Mueller is a 2016 MIF/3B, C, RHP with a 6-1 180 lb. frame from Solana Beach, CA who attends Cathedral Catholic. Long lean build. Hits from an open upright stance, short quiet hand load and hits from a still start. Good use of small muscle groups to accelerate the bat and generate bat speed, with improved flow and rhythm to trigger could become an even higher level hitter, shows the raw ingredients already, pull approach. Hands work well in the infield defensively with sound footwork. Good student. Named to the Sunshine West Top Prospect Team.
