T.J. Hopkins is a 2015 OF with a 6-2 175 lb. frame from Summerville, SC who attends Summerville HS. Slender athletic build, lots of room to get stronger. Right handed hitter, short quick path to the ball, has hand quickness and explodes hands at the ball, some loose extension out front, creates bat speed and projects for more, has some swing/miss but ball jumps hard when squared. 7.00 runner, showed his athleticism in the outfield, long arm action and will have to speed up his release, accurate throws. Good student, verbal commitment to College of Charleston.
