Christian Kuhl is a 2016 C/OF with a 6-0 185 lb. frame from Willis, TX who attends Willis HS. Medium, athletic frame with broad shoulders and a strong look with present strength throughout frame. Moves well, posted a 6.90 60-yard dash. Primary catcher, pops out from crouch well with quick feet, gets the ball out of glove quickly into shorter arm action, arm strength will continue to develop with more incorporation of lower half. Right-handed hitter, starts with a slightly open stance and a high hand set away from body with high back elbow. Stays balanced through swing and does a nice job of shifting weight through lower half, gets closed at contact with lower half. Short and quick swing path to the ball, generates nice bat speed with carry off the barrel and the ability to hit to all fields. Occasionally strides early but gets the barrel through the zone with some separation and feel for the barrel. Very good student.
