Matthew Cole is a 2016 SS/RHP with a 6-0 164 lb. frame from Marietta, GA who attends Kennesaw Mountain HS. Medium, highly athletic frame with room to fill out. Ran a 7.17 60 yard dash. Shows good hands on the infield and an above average throwing arm. Bats right-handed, works from an open stance and has a simple, direct swing. Shows good bat speed and pull side power. Flashes home run power. Also took the mound, reached 89 mph with his fastball from a high three-quarter arm slot. Has a fast, clean arm. Flashes a feel for his curveball with sweeping 10-4 depth. Has an idea with his changeup. Excellent two way talent. Named to Top Prospect list.
