Altoon Coleman is a 2017 RHP/1B with a 6-2 225 lb. frame from Sanford, FL who attends Winter Springs HS. Thick build, will have to work hard on conditioning to keep improving. Simple delivery with compact arm action, can get more drive from his strong lower half, arm works well coming through. Fastball topped out at 91 mph, have seen higher in the past, mostly straight with some angle to the plate, throws strikes with his fastball. Slider is developing well, has a consistent break and gets off barrels. Key to development will be maintaining his athleticism so he can use his mid-90's arm strength. Verbal commitment to Florida State.
