William Walter is a 2017 OF/MIF, 3B with a 5-9 168 lb. frame from Port Orange, FL who attends Spruce Creek. Medium athletic frame with solid present build and good remaining projection. Hits from wide base with semi-barred start; stance is slightly opened with toe tap timing mechanism. Line drive swing plane, glides into contact, will hit the ball to all fields with solid feel for the barrel overall. Fields well in the OF with good reads off the bat, full arm action with excellent arm strength, topping at 86 MPH on accurate throws to the IF. Shows quick feet and solid actions in the IF, strong arm across with excellent accuracy, topping at 79 MPH. Has range to both sides. Good student.
