Diaz Saunderson is a 2016 1B/LHP with a 6-1 180 lb. frame from Novi, MI who attends Northville HS. Saunderson has a large build with long limbs, has room to fill out and add strength to frame. hits from a square stance, slight toe tap trigger, line drive swing plane with some lift, flashes pull power, but most results are opposite field contact. Has balance and gets extended. Defensively, athletic actions around 1B, has quick exchange, smooth actions and makes all the plays. Also pitched, short arm action to 3/4 slot, online delivery with good tempo. Fastball has arm side run. Has feel for straight change and mixes in 11/5 developing curveball.
