2005 Academic Showcase
Heidt is a 6-4, 180 slender right handed pitcher from Georgia. He has a very slow and deliberate delivery with lots of moving parts and a big arm wrap in back. Simplifying his delivery mechanics will improve Heidt’s consistency and command. His fastball was in the 73-75 mph range for three innings of work at the showcase and he also threw a 65 mph curveball and 62 mph change up.
