Tyler Culver is a 2014 RHP/IF with a 6-3 180 lb. frame from Pawhuska, OK who attends Pawhuska HS. Tall slender frame, lots of room to fill out, projectable pitcher's build. Long extended arm action, effort in delivery and will get out of sync at times, 3/4's arm slot. Fastball topped at 88 mph, lots of fastball life both riding and tailing, tends to straight out a bit glove side. Hard power curveball with sharp biting action, curveball has a chance to be a plus pitch if thrown for strikes consistently. Reliever profile with two live pitches and present delivery. 7.07 runner, shows good shortness to his swing from an open stance, shows flashes of mid field lift. Good student.
