Zachary Strickland is a 2016 RHP/3B with a 6-2 185 lb. frame from Waycross, GA who attends Ware County HS. Nice athletic build with good strength in his lower half and a projectable upper half. Straight over the top arm action, gets over his front side well with good downhill plane to the plate, hides the ball well in his delivery, repeats his mechanics effectively. Fastball up to 92 mph, works his fastball to both sides of the plate with intent and shows some cutting action to the glove side. Throws a power curveball in the low 80's with a tight 12/6 shape, will get very good depth at times, buried a few curveballs for swinging strikes, Did not see a third pitch but the two he threw were high quality. Good student, verbal commitment to Georgia Southern.
