Jeren Kendall is a 2014 OF with a 5-10 160 lb. frame from Holmen, WI who attends Holmen HS. Short compact build, some present strength, young look. 6.49 runner, 3.97 home to first base, explosive first step, easy plus speed. Athletic actions in the outfield, very good arm strength with on line carry, accurate, high level centerfield tools with experience. Left handed hitter, limited load, quick hands, swings hard and has some bat speed, upright stance, could use lower half better, should develop into more than a slap/run left handed hitter. Plays hard and has projection. Good student, verbal commitment to Vanderbilt.
