Woytek is a strong and mature 5-11, 190 lb senior catcher from Texas who has plenty of experience at the higher levels of baseball and has a polished approach to the game. He's got stronger during the last year and this has helped his game, especially on offense. Woytek's defense is what will enable him to play at the college level, though. He's a solid all around catcher in all areas. His arm strength definitely plays at 77 mph and it enables him to be a bit slower on his release and still consistently put up 2.00 range pop times. Woytek is quick behind the plate and showed good range moving to bunts and pop ups. He receives the ball easily and has handled high velocity pitchers before. Offensively, Woytek hits out of a very spread stance and does a good job getting his hips and legs involved for this type of approach. His added strength gives him good pop in his bat and he just got under a couple of balls that could have gone a long way to left field but ended up as F7's. He gets good extension through the ball and could be just blossoming as a hitter. Overall, Woytek is a hard working ball player with a durable body and the tools his position demands. He'll be a good player at the next level. Woytek is also a good student
