Liam Flaherty is a 2014 RHP with a 6-4 155 lb. frame from Westfield, MA who attends Westfield High School. He has a lean projectable XL frame, long limbs, with room to fill. On the hill Flaherty showed a smooth balanced delivery, long arm circle in back, high ¾ arm slot, extended release, loose arm action, throws easy, minimal effort, and stays online. He is a strike thrower that worked down in zone and wasn’t scared to go right at guys and challenge them. His out pitch was his change-up by working low and away and maintaining his arm speed well. He’s not over powering at this time, but his good command frustrates hitters. He is also a good student.
