Holt Maybank is a 2014 RHP/OF with a 6-2 185 lb. frame from Los Angeles, CA who attends Palisades Charter. Tall, lean athletic build, good pitcher's body. Short arm action, pitches downhill, loose arm action, low effort delivery, ball comes out of hand cleanly. Showed significant development over the past year, added seven miles per hour to fastball, improved curveball significantly and added a quality changeup, even improved 60 yard dash time. Very promising rate of development. Good shape on 12-6 curveball with depth, shows promise with pitch, chance to develop into an out pitch with further development and increased power. Good feel for changeup, straight with sink, slows arm a touch but shows the makings of a quality pitch. Swung the bat well also, strong at contact, potential for power but upside appears to be on the mound. Good student.
