TJ Karr is a 5'11" 170 pound 2006 middle infielder, outfielder, and right handed pitcher from Windermere, Florida who attends Olympia High School. TJ has a strong athletic body. He has good speed which he showed by running a 7.04 in the 60 and good game quickness. His first step is where he is very quick. Karr has nice actions in the field. He has soft hands and glides to the ball. He has a quick release and a strong arm, throwing 84 mph across the infield during the workout. His arm works very well and easy. TJ has a quick bat and a line drive swing plane. He has very good raw power with more to come as he matures. He hits with a wide stance and makes consistent contact. On the mound, Karr has good arm action and throws his fastball at 83 mph and his curveball at 71 mph. His curveball is very sharp with a 10/4 rotation. He has a high leg kick and loads very well. He has a short stride but is very balanced and his mechanics are very sound. He had two strikeouts in one inning of work. TJ is an interesting player to watch in the future.
