Michael Arroyo is a 2014 C/OF with a 6-2 183 lb. frame from Ponce, PR who attends Puerto Rico Baseball Academy/HS. Very good athletic build, strong and loose. Right handed hitter, good separation and shift into contact, strong hands at contact, line drive swing plane, gap to gap power, ball jumps off the barrel well, stays balanced and hits through the ball. Did not run but has run 6.80 in the past, shows athletic quickness behind the plate, very good blocker with quick feet, good arm strength, throws tend to tail. Projects in all areas of the game. Good student.
