Jacob Watcher is a 2014 RHP/MIF with a 5-6 135 lb. frame from Sumter, SC who attends Sumter HS. Smaller build but still larger than list, has some athletic strength. Simple mechanics, compact arm action, 3/4's release point, repeats well. Fastball to 81 mph, big arm side run on occasion, lives on the inner half with FB and jams hitters, curveball has some spin and bite, throws strikes and is aggressive. 7.12 runner, sound fielding actions, soft hands and good balance, plays defense with energy. Right handed hitter, aggressive swing, hits out front, quick hands, some extension and lift, pull contact. Good all around athlete and player. Good student.
