Daniel 'DJ' Jackson is a 2013 C/OF with a 6-2 185 lb. frame from Pleasanton, CA who attends Amador Valley HS. Long athletic frame, projects to get bigger and stronger. Very good arm strength behind the plate, low transfer with long fast arm, good loose extension, good blocker who works hard behind the plate, 1.89 best pop time. Right handed hitter, line drive swing plane, early trigger and will get off balance/timing at times, has some bat speed and ball comes off the barrel well, offensive tools to develop. 7.03 runner, athletic actions. Would like to see on the mound, has a pitcher's build and arm action but catching prospect as well. Follow closely.
