Alec Pittsenbarger is a 2013 LHP/OF with a 5-11 147 lb. frame from Las Vegas, NV who attends Shadow Ridge HS. Smaller slope shouldered build, developing strength. Slow paced leg raise delivery, leans back, deep arm circle, extended high 3/4's release point, falls off on release. Mid 70's fastball, topped out at 76 mph, mostly straight, tries to work outside corner with fastball. Big slow curveball at 61 mph is an effective pitch, short slider acts more as a cutter. Occasional change up. 7.22 runner, showed good athleticism in the outfield, good footwork, accurate throws with some carry. Left handed hitter, has some hand quickness, line drive swing, makes consistent contact, launched triple over the centerfielder's head.
