Chris Iriart is a 2012 1B//RHP/OF with a 6-2 205 lb. frame from Chino Hills, CA who attends Chino Hills HS. Very strong well proportioned build. Right handed hitter, spread stance, hands back, nice line drive swing path, has bat speed, ball jumps off the barrel, consistent hard contact, gap power, polished hitter with an idea, could develop more lift with adjustments. Very good defensive skills at first base, quick and agile with soft hands, makes difficult plays. Also has corner outfield tools, sound footwork and fundamentals, strong arm with good accuracy. 2-way prospect, threw 85 mph off the mound, over the top release point, works fast and is a strike thrower, curveball has hard downer bite at times, could throw harder with more lower half use. Seen twice in the last month, a legit college player with present tools/skills. Good student.
