John Shea is a 2013 RHP/IF with a 6-3 185 lb. frame from Gilbert, AZ who attends Campo Verde HS. Tall slender build, plenty of room to add strength. Low 3/4's arm slot, multi-piece arm action, cross body delivery. Fastball topped at 71 mph, will both cut and sink at different times, late movement keeps hitters off balance, curveball with occasional 2-plane break, throws strikes. Right handed hitter, upper half rotational swing, aggressive approach, line drive swing with occasional lift, will benefit from additional strength. Plays both outfield and infield. Good student.
