2015 Northeast Top Prospect Showcase
Christopher Galland is a 2016 OF with a 6-0 172 lb. frame from Sudbury, MA who attends Lincoln-Sudbury Regional HS. Medium, athletic build with long limbs and present strength, has room to continue to fill out. Strong runner, posted a 6.70 60-yard dash. Utilizes speed well on the bases with instincts while running. Priamary outfielder, uses speed well and moves quickly to the ball with short steps, fields the ball out front, compact arm action with a higher and quick release, shows nice arm strength with accuracy and projects for more with added lower half. Right-handed hitter, starts with a high back elbow and a square stance in the box. Patient approach, movement in hands during load, upper body swing with a line drive swing plane. Stays inside the ball well and is able to use all fields effectively showing a feel for the barrel. Short and quick leg lift trigger, shows nice bat speed with a quick barrel through the zone. Verbal commitment to Boston College. Named to Northeast Top Prospect List. Good student.
