Aaron Uy is a 2015 LHP/OF with a 5-9 160 lb. frame from Roswell, GA who attends Roswell. Lean, athletic frame with room to fill out in upper half with added strength. Ran a 7.53 60-yard dash. Primary left-handed pitcher, throws from a lower three-quarter arm slot, working exclusively from the stretch with a deliberate, steady tempo pace on the mound. Front side opens early but does a nice job of filling up the strike zone with all three pitches. Gets on top of the ball working down in the zone, fastball topped at 75 mph and turns it over, creating run to arm side. 10-4 shape on slider with short break and maintained arm speed on changeup well, generating fade and sink to the pitch. Loose arm from the outfield, moves well to the ball and will continue to add strength to throws. Left-handed hitter, sound approach in the box, shows a short and compact swing with some lift through the zone and creates line drive contact. Good student.
