Shane Wise is a 2013 RHP with a 6-2 190 lb. frame from Miramar, FL who attends University School Of Nova South. Athletic build with some present strength and room to add more. Works from stretch, very low hand set, big leg raise, stays back over rubber well, long loose arm action, stuff better with slide step/runners on base with more compact pitching mechanics. Upper 80's fastball, topped out at 90 mph, mostly straight with occasional fun and sink. Inconsistent curveball arm action and spin, tends to wrap curveball in back, flashes some depth at times. Has some feel for his change up. Velocity up significantly from this summer, developing delivery consistency is his next step. Very good student.
