Owen Spiwak is a 2014 C/1B with a 6-3 195 lb. frame from Mississauga, ON who attends Cawthra Park Secondary School. Strong well proportioned athletic build. Quick actions behind the plate, very compact throwing release, accurate throws, tends to stand up throwing, blocks and shifts well behind the plate. Right handed hitter, open stance and stays open during swing, late load often leads late hands to the ball, line drive swing plane, hits to all fields, has the strength to hit but needs adjustments to his direction and timing. Defensive can carry for now. Good student.
