Rahul Badve is a 2012 C/1B with a 6-1 172 lb. frame from Mississauga, ON who attends Woodlands SS. Lean build with strength, body has lots of projection. High base while receiving behind the plate. Very quick release with short arm action. Pop of 1.96 was one of best of the day. Not big arm strength but gets rid of it very quick. Tools have rawness but very potential behind the plate. Lots of pre-swing movement at the plate. Smooth swing on a repeatable plane. Good balance and extension. Keeps swing short. Will benefit from better balance.
