Ryan Gaze is a 2006 shortstop/right handed pitcher from Houston, TX with a slight athletic build at 6'0" 140 pounds. Defensively, he showed smooth athletic actions and a solid glove. His arm is clean and his throwing motion is easy and produces strong online throws at 79 mph across the infield. He hits from a slightly spread stance and uses a no load, no stride approach. His swing path is level through the zone and he does show good hand eye coordination. He makes solid contact and has the potential to hit for power. He shows athletic actions, a good throwing arm and a projectable body that will be very playable at the next level.
