Cody Angus is a 2011 1B/LHP with a 6-1 205 lb. frame from Louisville, KY who attends Pleasure Ridge Park. He has a strong, athletic build. High leg kick wind on mound, has good deception, and hides ball well. His fastball has big tailing action. Has very good arm speed, and uses lower half well in delivery. 12/6 curveball has good shape and depth. Arm speed on changeup is good. Good glove at 1B, moves well, quick release, smooth around bag. Left handed hitter, with a deep load, and smooth swing with very good bat speed. Ball jumps off his bat, consistent hard line drives. High follow.
