Ryan DeLaughter is a 2005 outfielder/right handed pitcher from Corinth Texas with a very strong MLB type body at 6 ft. 3 215 pounds. His entire body shows good strength and he generates pro level bat speed. He is a pure power hitter and hit rocket shots all weekend. He hit one towering home run to left that did not land until after he hit the next pitch. He has good bat control and can hit the ball out to any part of the park. The ball explodes off his bat and makes a different sound than most other hitters. He has very good outfield skills with a solid glove and good range. He has a fast arm and a quick release and threw 94 mph from the outfield with accuracy and carry. He pitches from a 3/4 slot with a high leg kick. His fastball topped out at 92 mph with good run. His curveball ranged from 72-74 mph. Ryan is the total package that will succeed at any level, and has the highest level draft potential.
