Hunter Bening is a 2013 1B/RHP with a 6-4 220 lb. frame from Fayetteville, GA who attends Whitewater HS. Big strong thick build. Right handed hitter, crouched stance, gets coiled and loaded, pull and lift power approach, tends to pull off the ball, long and loose swing with extension out front, handles the barrel well and makes contact, good strength in his swing. Limited to first base defensively. Also pitched, fast paced upper body delivery, compact arm action, mid 70's fastball to 77 mph, good sink and cut on fastball, big slow curveball, throws strikes with both pitches. Excellent student.
