Ryan Kirby is a 2013 OF/1B with a 6-1 185 lb. frame from Livermore, CA who attends Granada HS. Medium athletic build, some present strength. 6.82 runner, long smooth arm action, arm strength has improved, left field tools and actions, also plays first base. Left handed hitter, very smooth and easy swing, limited load, hands short to the ball with good lift out front, good lower half flow, nice raw bat speed with more to come with additional strength, squares the ball up well, could improve hand rhythm to start swing. Promising young hitter. Good student, verbal commitment to San Diego.
