Pete Levitt is a 6'3" 230 pound 2007 right handed pitcher, third baseman, and catcher from Chesapeake, Virginia who attends Cape Henry Collegiate School. He has a big body that is strong and looks like he plays some football. Pete was one of the top pitching prospect at the event with a fastball at 86 mph. He has good arm action and a body that suggests 90 mph velocity very soon. He didn’t throw a breaking ball but his change up at 78 mph had very good action. Levitt is also an outstanding hitter. He hammers balls on the inside half of the plate with college level power. He has good balance in his swing and is really good on balls middle-in. He has good bat speed and a very pwerful swing. Levitt is very smooth defensively as well. He handles himself very well around the bag at first base with solid footwork and sure hands. He showed his arm strength again by throwing 82 mph across the infield. He was named to the Top Prospect game as both a hitter and pitcher. Pete is a very interesting player who will get big interest from schools all over the country as well as be a national type player. He is also a good student as well with a 3.2 gpa.
