Cinder is an extra tall and lean 6-8 right hander with some excellent projection to him. He throws from a high ¾’s release point and gets good downward plane on his pitches. Cinder’s best pitch at present is his 71 mph curveball, which he gets over well and creates very good downward spin on. Cinder’s fastball in Fort Myers was 84-87 mph, a couple ticks below what it registered in Jupiter in October but still good for a pitcher with Cinder’s profile. Cinder also threw a nice change up. He’s a very strong student as well. If Paul shows scouts 90 or better this spring he's going to create a lot of draft interest. He's definitely a highest level college pitcher. We are going to hear a lot about this kid in the future.
