McLaren is an '04' RHP from Ontario. At 6'3/172 he has a real good frame to add weight and strength. In CR he threw mid 80s out of a 3/4 slot. The ball came out of his hand quick and easy. His arm works very well. He ran one in and shattered a bat, He got outs with a nice breaking ball around 70 mph. He kept his 74 mph CU down. Mechanics were solid as he showed command of three pitches. Nathan is a good student and could end up being a giant sleeper at the next level.
