Nick Berger is a 2011 RHP/1B with a 6-1 192 lb. frame from Commack, NY who attends Commack HS. Solid athletic build, good present strength. Tall delivery, short stride, 3/4's arm slot, limited use of lower 1/2 in delivery. Fastball topped out at 82 mph, good arm side run at times, commands fastball well. Upper 60's curveball shows good bite and 2 plane bite, rare change up. Swing similar to pitching delivery, limited lower 1/2 use, short line drive swing, has more strength he can use in his swing. Outstanding student.
