His tools are a bit short compared to the top national level prospects at Tropicana Field, but his makeup is off the charts. Jake projects to play anywhere from DIII to small DI. His work ethic should help him keep improving. He shows hitting ability and some arm strength. He even runs fairly well for a catcher. His attitude along with his talent should lead to a good college career.
