Ryan Burns is a 2011 C with a 5-9 165 lb. frame from Baton Rouge, LA who attends Catholic HS. Short build with some present strength. 7,26 runner, quick actions defensively, compact release, plenty of arm strength, clean exchange, receives the ball cleanly, 1.90 best pop, solid all around defensive skills/tools. Upright stance hitting, quick rotational swing, uses his hands well, shows raw bat speed and some pull power, likes the ball up, ball comes off the barrel well. Nice all around abilities. Good student.
