Hur is a 6'1" 170 pound 2006 outfielder, pitcher, and third baseman from Stevenson Ranch, California who attends Valencia High School. He has a lean frame and wiry strong build with room to fill out. As a pitcher, he has a loose arm which gives him some arm side run on his 88 mph fastball. He throws from a 3/4 arm slot and has above average arm speed. He has very good rotation on his curveball which is very deceptive and hard at 74 mph. He works quick and is very aggressive throwing strikes at will. Michael is also a good offensive player as well. He stays on the ball well and uses his hands to hit with. He has a very good approach to hitting and showed some good opposite field power. He has decent speed running a 7.16 in the 60. In the outfield, he threw 83 mph in the workout with a compact arm action and good arm strength. He charges the ball well and has average feet and hands. Michael is a good prospect with good grades as well.
