Connor Justus is a 2013 SS/2B/RHP with a 6-1 190 lb. frame from Cartersville, GA who attends Cartersville HS. Strong and physical athletic build, fairly mature physically. 7.07 runner, very good infield arm strength, polished actions, moves through the ball well with advanced footwork, aggressive charging the ball, will have to work hard to stay at shortstop but will be a plus defender at third base as well. Right handed hitter, rock back load, simple and short swing mechanics, has bat speed, high hand approach and attacks down to the ball, line drive contact, limited lift at present but squares up consistently, patient hitter who recognizes pitches. Also pitches, simple leg raise delivery, tight 3/4's slot, throws easy, good running action on mid 80's fastball, drops slot on curveball with soft spin, throws strikes and works ahead.
