Justin Bellinger is a 2014 1B/LHP with a 6-6 237 lb. frame from Weston, MA who attends St Sebastians School. Extra big and strong build, stands out on the field. Left handed hitter, spread bent knee stance, late hand load, upper half rotational swing, long uppercut swing with outstanding strength and bat speed, ball explodes when squared up, upper deck power frequently on display in BP, elite level power. Very good defensive first baseman, ideal target, moves well with balanced footwork, very good at picking low throws, will be a plus with the glove. Resembles Adam Dunn in many ways, plays hard and enjoys the game. Excellent student, verbal commitment to Vanderbilt. Selected for the Perfect Game All-American Classic team.
